Sic Buttercup born 2013
Sic Buttercup is sired by Bøgegaardens Boney M, who was named Premium Stallion in the Danish Warmblood (DV) in 2010 and was the Champion Stallion among 4-year-olds at the stallion licensing in Herning. He remains active at Grand Prix level. He is the son of Bellisimo M, a renowned stallion who has sired 63 licensed sons and 165 state premium mares. In Sic Buttercup’s dam line, we find the Elite Stallion May Sherif, who sired Matador, a top sport horse trained by Kyra Kyrklund, and who became the sire of the Dutch stallion Wynton and the grandsire of Blue Hors Matiné.
Sic Buttercup is approved both in DV in the DS book and in the Oldenburger Pferdezucht Verband in Stutbuch II.
She has three excellent gaits and a fantastic temperament, both as a riding horse and as a broodmare. With us, she has produced two foals:
- In 2021, the filly Annexgaardens Botanique by Birkhof’s Bohemian, and
- In 2023, the colt Just Imagine by Infantino.
She is now solely a broodmare and will serve as a surrogate mare in the future.

Sic Buttercup er efter Bøgegaardens Boney M, som i 2010 blev udnævnt til præmiehingst i DV og fløjhingst blandt 4 års hingstene ved hingstekåring i Herning. Han er fortsat aktiv i sporten på GP niveau. Han er søn af Bellisimo M. Bellisimo M er far til 63 kårede sønner og 165 statspræmierede hopper. I hoppestammen finder vi Elitehingsten May Sherif, som er far til Matador. Matador blev uddannet af Kyra Kirklund til topsport og blev sidenhen far til den hollandske hingst Wynton, samt morfar til Blue Hors Matiné
Sic Buttercup er kåret både i DV i DS samt i Olderburgerpferdezucht Verband i Stutbuch II
Hun besidder 3 gode gangarter og et fantastisk temperament, både som ridehest og som følhoppe. Hos os har hun lavet to afkom., i 2021 hoppeføllet Annexgaardens Botanique ( skal kunne trykkes på) efter Birkhof’s Bohemian samt i 2023 hingsteføllet Just Imagine (skal kunne trykkes på) e. Infantino.
Går idag udelukkende som følhoppe og vil i fremtiden fungere som rugehoppe.
